Engineering Heritage & Corporate Capability

BoosterX Turbines is an advanced propulsion venture pioneering fully indigenous micro gas turbine systems tailored for defense, energy, and future air mobility applications, driving Atmanirbhar Bharat toward global aerospace leadership.

Foundational Roots: BoosterX started building its engines from design footprints to prototype at the National Centre for Combustion Research and Development (NCCRD), IIT Madras.

Bootstrapped Execution: The company successfully bootstrapped with ₹30 Lakh of founder capital, achieving rapid prototype realization and validating its core technology stack in just 1.5 years.

Absolute Specialization: By focusing 100% exclusively on micro gas turbines, BoosterX achieves hyper-agile development cycles and rapid design iterations compared to larger legacy conglomerates.

Core Product Architecture (BX-Series)

BoosterX offers a modular family of high-performance micro-turbojets operating on Jet-A/kerosene, diesel, and biofuels (SAF):

BX220 (~220 N Class): Lightweight tactical engine (2.45 kg, 130 mm diameter) designed for small UAVs, loitering munitions, and target drones.

BX450 (~450 N Class): Mid-range engine (4.4 kg, 154 mm diameter) built for tactical reconnaissance and MALE UAVs.

BX1000 (~1000 N Class): Heavy-strike engine (14.5 kg, 238 mm diameter) engineered for high-payload tactical cruise systems and unmanned jet-powered platforms.

Competitive Edge & Technology Stack

Advanced Combustion: Employs a next-generation aerospace-style pressure-swirl spray injector optimized for superior atomization and thermal efficiency.

Operational Readiness: Engineered for short start sequences, rapid launch capabilities, and multi-environment operation in defense applications.

In-House Research & Development

Our R&D work extends across propulsion systems, ECU development, electronic controls, fuel and pump technologies, and supporting hardware, with a focus on developing and integrating technologies for aerospace propulsion applications.
